Better tools mean better care — but only if they are used in the right order. At The Spine and Wellness Center the technology falls into two groups: diagnostics that let us measure what is actually going on, and treatment technology that lets us correct it precisely. We invest in both because guessing is expensive for patients. It costs weeks of the wrong treatment, and it is the reason so many people arrive here having “tried everything.”

Diagnostics come first. The MyoVision surface EMG scan reads the electrical activity of the muscles along your spine and shows, segment by segment, where your body is guarding and compensating. Thermal scanning adds a picture of nerve-related inflammation. GaitScan maps the pressure under your feet as you walk and reveals the imbalance that keeps feeding recurring hip, knee, SI-joint and low-back pain. Digital X-rays are taken when they are indicated — to measure alignment, plan corrections and rule out anything that should not be treated conservatively. Together they turn visit one into a measurement, and visit two into findings and a plan from Dr. Jared Cohen, DC.

Treatment technology then does the targeted work. The Triton DTS spinal decompression table is the centerpiece: computer-controlled traction that gently opens the disc space and takes pressure off the nerve for herniated and bulging discs and sciatica, without drugs or surgery. Cold laser, therapeutic ultrasound and electrical muscle stimulation calm inflammation and spasm so the correction can hold. Acoustic shockwave handles the chronic tendon cases. And the light and sound suite — red light, blue light and BrainTap — supports the Regenerate and Refine stages of the 4R Method.
