What to Expect
We'll place soft adhesive pads over the muscles we're treating and slowly bring up a low-level current until you feel a comfortable tingling or gentle pulsing. You stay relaxed while the muscles contract and release in rhythm — most sessions run about 10 to 15 minutes. EMS is usually one part of a visit that also includes chiropractic adjustment or physical therapy, and we'll adjust the settings and timing to fit how your muscles respond.
